Sales Account Manager

Permanent, Immediate start

Our Sales & Product Department is responsible for looking after our portfolio of existing clients, as well as actively seeking to expand our client base to meet growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing existing clients; taking ownership of accounts and building strong relationships
  • Researching clients to become a client expert
  • Qualifying enquiries: establishing clients’ needs and gathering further information
  • Updating our reservation system Tourplan and CRM with all necessary information
  • Liaising with the Contracting Team regarding hotels and attractions
  • Creating itineraries based on clients’ needs including necessary research on attractions, themes etc.
  • Calculating offers based on budget guidelines and creating offers in our Tourplan/Prevero systems
  • Updating clients on the status of the enquiry based on agreed deadlines
  • Following up each offer and sales lead
  • Staying up-to-date with market and industry information and trends
  • Competitor analysis

Required skills and experience

  • being customer focused, friendly and diplomatic

  • creativity: being able to develop new ideas
  • time management; ability to prioritise and manage several tasks at once
  • fluent in German and English OR French and English, both written and spoken

You should have:

  • commitment to deliver results
  • a good knowledge of our destinations Great Britain and Ireland
  • Business panning skills including forecasting
  • a positive attitude, problem solving skills and a good sense of humour
  • relevant education in tourism or business administration (e.g. apprenticeship or studies)
  • experience in group or coach travel (e.g. work placements)
