Discover Scotland’s most spectacular sights on this six day tour. The programme covers Scottish metropolises such as Edinburgh and Glasgow which present a wonderful mixture of historic architecture and cultural events. Travel through breathtaking landscapes such as Glen Coe and visit the iconic Urquhart Castle and atmospheric Loch Ness.

Day 1

Ferry Crossing

Day 2


Upon arriving in Newcastle, continue to Edinburgh, where there will be the possibility to join a guided sightseeing tour of the Scottish capital. Alternatively, explore the city independently, and take in the famous sights at a leisurely pace.

Day 3

Perth & Malt Whisky Trail

Explore the beautiful city of Perth and visit the impressive Scone Palace which was once the location for the coronation of Scottish kings. Afterwards follow the unique Malt Whisky Trail and get insights into the origin of the world famous Scotch whisky. Top off the experience by enjoying a whisky tasting.

Day 4

Inverness, Loch Ness & Glasgow

Start the day with a short stop in Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands. Continue to the wondrous ruins of Urquhart Castle, beautifully located on the banks of Loch Ness. Take the time to enjoy the stunning view of the legendary Loch before travelling through Glen Coe to admire the spectacular views of one of Scotland’s most famous glens. On the way to Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city, pass the picturesque Loch Lomond.

Day 5

Gretna Green & Ferry Crossing

In the morning visit the famous Gretna Green which has been the location of choice for thousands of runaway weddings since 1754. In the afternoon continue the homeward journey by night ferry from Hull.

Day 6

Homeward Journey

The homeward journey continues by coach from Rotterdam/Zeebrugge.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

Why not add tickets to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, one of the biggest and best known music events in Scotland, to this tour? The exceptional combination of music, dance and the military parade with participants from all over the world has been delighting audiences for 66 years. This special festival takes place in front of the magnificent Edinburgh Castle for three weeks every August. Due to the worldwide popularity of the event tickets need to be booked as soon as possible.
