On arrival in Hull travel to York, one of England’s most beautiful historic cities and enjoy a sightseeing tour. Afterwards continue to Scotland to your hotel.

Start the day with a sightseeing tour of the royal city of Edinburgh. Afterwards continue to Pitlochry, a quaint village which is a popular holiday gateway due to its scenic location in the heart of Scotland. Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea before continuing to your hotel.

Begin with a scenic excursion through the Highlands to the legendary Loch Ness. Once there, continue on the picturesque North Coast 500 route which takes you through the outermost regions of Scotland. Stop off for a visit to the beautiful Dunrobin Castle and admire its lovely gardens. Finish the day with a stop at Glenmorangie whisky distillery for a tour and a tasting.

Today will be spent in the fascinating Orkney Islands, home of stunning beaches, wonderful wildlife and heritage sites. Take the ferry crossing from John O’Groats to the Orkneys in the morning. Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour with stops at the Stone Age settlement Skara Brae and the famous bay of Scapa Flow. In the evening return by ferry to the mainland.
Continue on the breathtaking North Coast 500 route where sandy beaches and rugged mountains create an interesting contrast. There will be a stopover in Durness, the most north westerly village of the Scottish mainland to visit Smoo Cave. Continue through untouched nature and pass the beautiful Loch Assynt as well as the ruins of Ardvreck Castle. In the evening travel to Ullapool.

Start the day with a stunning panoramic drive through the Northwest Highlands along the beautiful Loch Maree and Loch Carron. Stop for a photo at the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle before continuing over the Skye Bridge to the breathtaking Isle of Skye, the largest island of the Inner Hebrides. Explore Portree, the capital of the island with its lovely harbour and brightly coloured houses.

Explore the south of the Isle of Skye on-route to Armadale. Take the ferry crossing from the Isle of Skye to Mallaig where the trip along the ‘Road of the Isles’ to Fort William begins. This road is widely thought of as one of the most scenic routes in Scotland. Continue through the spectacular Glen Coe to the idyllic Loch Lomond and then on to Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland which is famous for its galleries and museums.

Pass through the beautiful Lake District on the way to the ferry port. Then continue to Hull and board the night ferry.
The homeward journey from Rotterdam/Zeebrugge continues by coach.
Isle of Lewis & Isle of Harris
Extend your tour by two additional overnight stays (days 6 & 7) and visit two islands of the Outer Hebrides – the Isle of Lewis and the Isle of Harris. The largest island of the Outer Hebrides is the Isle of Lewis with its untouched nature and cultural heritage. Explore the beautiful sandy beaches, the Victorian houses in the port of Stornoway and the magnificent island’s rich history. On the second day continue to the Isle of Harris to enjoy the varied and spectacular scenery. Travel along the “Golden Road” and discover South Harris with its stunning bays, small villages and rich traditions.
